Adopt Adopt AdoptWhen you adopt from a shelter or rescue group, you’ll give a dog a second chance at finding a home and you will not add to the nation’s pet overpopulation problem. The reality is that an estimated 3.7 million unwanted pets must be euthanized at animal shelters every year -- many because they could not find families to adopt them. So give that dog at the shelter a second chance at a good life and let him or her experience real love.
If you see a potential companion here on our site, complete the Adoption Application and bring it in with you. |
Foster a Fur BabyWhen you foster, you agree to take a homeless dog into your home and give him or her love, care and attention, either for a predetermined period of time or until the dog is adopted. Fostering a dog is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have (other than adopting, of course).

Volunteer
Whether you're walking dogs, cleaning up around the shelter or after the fur babies themselves, you can make a difference in a dogs life by volunteering.
You'll make the jobs of everyone working for animals a little easier by lending a hand and spreading the message of responsible pet ownership and animal protection.
The best reason to volunteer is the love and licks you'll get from those fur babies you're taking care of. THAT is the best reason to help. |
